Aqua-Aero WaterSystems BV (AAWS) is a flexible and independent Dutch company, committed to developing, producing and marketing sustainable quality solutions for water needs around the world. MWF supports AAWS in launching their product portfolio on developing markets by creating effective business models.
One of its successaful products and winner of the in World Bank's Development Marketplace Award 2006, is the WaterPyramid, a conical tent in which the sun distills fresh water from salt water.
AAWS's latest project is Orange Water, a franchise for small entrepreneurs in developing countries who want to start a watershop, Micro Water Facility secured the funding for the first two demonstration pilots, which are set to be launched in September 2011.
