Sujol means good water and is the new name of The Bangladesh Project

Sujol will be the new brand of The Bangladesh Project. Sujol will deliver Arsenic free water to 30000 villages in the next 10 years. Coming month the first device will be exported and tested in a site near Jessore.

Riad and Irfan just completed the technical training at Voltea. As you can see Riad is taking a load of knowlegde back home.

Opening of the first Sujol plant in Bangladesh

On May 12th the first Sujol plant was opened officially. This plant produces 200 liters an hours. The water quality is within Bangladeshi standards. The plant reduces Salinity up till 97% and Arsenic from 370 ppm to 30 ppm. Sujol water taste nearly as good as mineral water and beats the taste of water treated by comparable alternatives easily.

The Ecological Management Foundation and Micro Water Facility are two independently operating foundations that seek to improve access to clear drinking water and sanitation in developing countries. The two organisations work closely together and share a large number of core values.
