EMF and MWF strategic partnership

Since early 2010, I have also been managing the Ecological Management Foundation (EMF). Founded by Allerd Stikker, the EMF has been involved in water for 20 years. EMF has initiated a number of activities and organizations, including the Micro Water Facility.

What is the relationship between EMF and MWF? EMF envisages water solutions, builds consortia to draw up a plan to realise them and incubates the plan into a feasible social venture. During the incubating period MWF is called in on a transaction basis, offering business development assistance and financial engineering (securing funding).

EMF may be described as a lead generator for MWF. The combination permits us to offer a broad range of services to entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial organizations.

On May 12th the first Sujol plant was opened officially. This plant produces 200 liters an hours. The water quality is within Bangladeshi standards. The plant reduces Salinity up till 97% and Arsenic from 370 ppm to 30 ppm. Sujol water taste nearly as good as mineral water and beats the taste of water treated by comparable alternatives easily.
